This may be a dumb questions , but I just started my daughter on solids , just fruit for now. I have been giving it to her following her first bottle and her second to last at night. She seems to be hungry all the time , should I be giving her the fruits at a seperate time from the bottle? Like in between bottles or am I doing it right?

Sounds like you are doing great. My pediatrician said to give after a feeding, whenever she seemed the hungriest. That usually was late morning and early evening for her. Starting small is important, it's just to get her little tummy used to solids and not really to fill her up when you start. It's also a good idea to start with veggies as her natural inclination will be to eat fruit as it is sweet. Veggies can be harder to win your baby over with. My little girl started with cooked, mashed carrots first, and then I started giving mushed up green veggies. Luckily she loved all of them. Start with giving just one new food at a time though to make sure there aren't any allergic reactions.

fruits are a natural source of straight sugar. the baby is going to be hungry all the time because, while its healthy, its not very satisfying and sugars are absorbed so quickly. I think you're doing it right though, its good that the fruit isn't a meal just a small treat. Give the baby veggies as often to get the baby started on the right variety of nutrition.

First of if she's older than 4 months some dr's tell you not to do this but start her on cereal. You can cut a little bit on the nibble of the bottle and put some in it with her milk. Try rice first. You can give her a cereal bottle once in the morning & once in the evening. That's what I did with my children. My son is 6 and my little girl is 2.

If she seems hungry all the time try giving her feed in between.
When she first wakes up give her a bottle then after awhile give her some farex or porridge even strained weetbixs then lunch and dinner and bottles when she normally has bottles so another words feed her when you would eat that's what i did with my kids.

That is 100% right. Just try to give her veggies as well they say you shoud introduce veggies first as when they taste the sweetness of fruit they will not want veggies. But don't worry you are doing OK.When I started my lo on solids her sleeping habits changed from good to bad she is very restless and cant sleep for longer than 3 hours at night.
