I know just how you feel! I was really bad with morning sickness, from about 6 weeks to 10, but it's really eased off now. I found that the ginger biscuits didn't work for me, but eating crackers did.
The most important things is to make sure you don't get dehydrated or you will feel even worse. Stick to drinking water & eat bland food to keep your energy up. I had to completely avoid any meat cooking because the smell made me sick, so I ate a lot of pasta in that time.
Hopefully you will be lucky & it will pass for you, things get better for most women once you get into your second trimester.

I had this horrible problem in the first pregnancy. I was advised by the doc not to get out of the bed as soon as i woke up in the morning. I used to brush my teeth as usual in the night before sleeping. In the morning before gettin out of the bed, i used to eat some biscuits from bed without getting out of the bed and lie there for 15 mins like that.
The doc advised me to eat some toasts and may b a black tea before gettin out of the bed. But i was not lucky to have anyone with me during pregnancy to do that for me. I spent my pregnancy alone.
I used to prepare lemon juice with a little salt and sugar and a little ginger juice mixed in it.
That helped me too.
Basically, dont keep your stomach empty. Eat something in small breaks.
Wishing you a speedy recovery. Hope this morning sickness quits shortly. I can understand how u feel as i was going through the same and couldnt work. And yes i hated the smell of all the spices, chicken fish and diaries. I hated my neighbors cooking that too. lol
Wishing u good luck sweetie. All the very best for the rest of the pregnancy. happiness always :-)

Hi. I had the exact same problem! The best thing that worked for me ws to eat a ginger biscuit or a slice of dry toast. I KNOW that is the last thing that you feel like doing, but it really does help. The sickness is worse when you have an empty stomach. I used to start feeling sick about 4pm every afternoon, so i would have a biscuit just before.
Hope this helps. Good luck, you will love being a mum!

Try to get someone to bring you a cuppa and something bland to eat before you get out of bed, this really helps. Also ginger is amazing for sickness especially morning sickness. I kept a packet of ginger biscuits next to my bed and ate 3 before I got out of bed and it did help a little. I also bought fresh ginger and let some soak in a cup of boiling water and drank that throughout the day. hopefully it will pass in a few weeks but if you're unlucky enough to get it throughout the pregnancy and it becomes unbeasable you can get some stuff from the doc but they only like to give it to bad cases.

Oh yeah isnt it the most horrible thing in the world. First try the doc, they have great stuff for morning sickness. And i bet you feel sick before you get out of bed in the morning. I used to have ginger biscuits or dry crackers next to my bed...before i even moved my head out of bed my partner would pass me them and i would eat about 4...and just lay in bed for another 10 mins and than i would start to move...it actually helped a lot. By doing that my morning sickness lasted another 2 weeks than it went away. Mind you i still couldnt smell coffee or deodorant and stuff that has a strong smell but never used to make me real sick. Try that. I hope it helps.....Dont worry its all worth it once you have that beautiful baby in your arms.

Oh sweetie, I'm 16 weeks and 5 days along and NOTHING has/is/or will help mine. I've learned that its just something I have to live with until it goes away no matter how horrible it is. I'm a cashier too and its awful having morning sickness and having to run away from my register like 4 times a day to throw up...argh!
