Im british, my wife is russia (she has indefinate leave to remain, but not a british passport). We are going to greece on the 13 July 07.
She needs a shengen visa
Ive called loads of embassies, but all there appointments are for in 2 months.

ANYONE any ideas how to get a shengen visa quickish???
any thoughts on this situation

I'm not sure if my suggestions will help you, but you could also try:
1.) contacting a consulate instead of the embassies - maybe they are less busy
2.) maybe a travel agent has or knows a faster way getting a visa (you might have to book your journey there??)
3.) if your destination not necessarily has to be Greece, try a non-Schengen-country like one in eastern Europe, Turkey, or Marocco:
