I'm a shower person myself. However, if I've had a really physical day then sometimes I have a soak in a nice hot bath, but every time I have a bath I HAVE to have a shower afterwards because I just can't see how you can get clean sitting in a pool of hot water full of the muck you've just "washed" off yourself.
Am I being a weird over this, of just normal? I mean, how do you wash your hair in the bath and stuff? Seems like a logistical nightmare to me!

You should try goint to an Asian Bathe House. Before going into a hot spring pool you must take a shower so you can clean that **** off your body. Then you enter the pool (about 3 feet deep) and take in the natural spring water into your pores. After awhile you may decide to enter the steam bath or the sauna. You then may decide to return to a warm or cool pool of water and soak some more. Lastly you rinse off and cool down in a lounge and drink down a beer to cool you off. Get dressed and you're done.

Showers are best! When you take a bath you don't feel like you get all the way clean. Not to mention that taking a bath and staying in there too long whether it's a bubble bath or your own ick can cause women to have urinary track infections. I would take a nice relaxing bath to rid the day away then take a shower to be completly clean.

Shower is best for speed and cleanliness but now and again its nice to relax and let the hot water of a bath surround you.
Sometimes i have a quick shower first wash my hair. Then run a bath and relax knowing my dirt isn't sitting in the bath with me.
and of course sharing a shower with that special person isn't quite the same as relaxing in the bath with a bottle of Wine and candles with them.

Personally, I could never understand sitting in a tub full of your own dirt plus soapsuds. However, hot baths are supposed to be relaxing. I imagine if one showers first, then sits in a hot bath, then rinses off in the shower, it would work. But how many people have this much time to get clean?

I'm a shower girl too. When we had our bathroom done we didn't have a shower for a couple of months and it was a real pain. I had to wash my hair with a jug, which was not fun. And baths just take too long and use too much water. Give me a nice shower any day!

Shower in the mornings to waken you up. Bath to relax. Always shower to wash hair. Also a nice bath at the time of the month.

I'm a shower person aswell, but you did you know with the right shampoo that you don't have to wash your hair everyday? I always take a shower in the moring and sometimes at night I take a bath, just cause its so relaxing; but I never wash my hair in the tub, or body; cause thats what bubble bath, ect is for(like loufa in shower).

A bath is nice to relax in but you have to have a shower too. You cant just have a bath because then youre just sitting in your own dirt, you need to have a shower to wash off the dirt.

As you say, a soak in a bubble bath is a lovely way to relax but to feel really clean a shower is best.
