I need to buy a product that will help fasten my sheets tight to my mattress. Specifically I've been looking for those little garter-type straps that clip to the sheets (like the once that strap under ironing board covers). I've found them online but want to purchase locally as time is of the essence. However, I've been all over town --- to Target, K-Mart, and some locally-owned shops that carry products for the home --- to no avail. I will try Bed, Bath, and Beyond today. BUT I'm wondering if anyone else knows of national retailers that carry this sort of product. Thanks.

I need to get these sheets fastened TIGHT. Our sheets do fit our mattress but they need to be tighter. If anyone has suggestions for other product that might help us achieve this tight fit, please suggest away! (FYI: we have a traditional king-size mattress w/o a pillow-top.)

Bed Bath and Beyond carry them in the bedding dept... However, in the future you might want to measure your bed and keep that in you purse so that when you are buying sheets you aren't buying them too big/small that might help you in the future....

I know for a fact that our local Wal-Mart sells these items. The are in the bedding section. The usually will be hanging on one of the hang down displays that are at the end of the isles.
Also they are displayed in the section in which waterbed supplies are found because they are used frequently on watrebeds. Best of luck to you!!

Too much competition. Most pet shops sell budgies for $17.50 and weeros for $25.00. Private breeders sell them for similar prices or slightly less. This is one obvious competition. Second, most pet shops dont breed their own birds. They get their birds from breeders and generally buy them at half price. Budgies for $10.00 and weeros for $15. This means they only make a $10 profit on aviary birds. If you consider the cost involved with lighting, food, substrate, perching etc, they pretty much come out even. So the pet shops generally stick to selling pet supplies where they can make a 100% markup with no overhead etc. They will often have a group of repretable breeders which they will refer customers to. In the past I have sold bugies etc to pet shops. They will generally sell hand-reared birds as they will buy one off breeders for $45 - $55 and sell them between $65 - $120 depending on the bird. I hoped this helped
