Yes, you should be able to upgrade it. I believe the Dell Dimension E521 has a motherboard supporting PCI-Express video cards, so make sure you pick something that is PCI-express.

Newegg.com is one of the best sites online for PC components, i'd recommend that.

If your PC's power supply can run the 7300LE, it can manage to power up the 27watter 7600GS. It would also give significant improvement in games when compared to your anemic 7300LE. Many gamers prefer to call any Nvidia card w/ the suffix LE as the Lame Edition.

in case your computing device has pci educate slot it is going to paintings, Which i'm particular it does. yet you need to envision out what length means furnish you've in that computing device. That card calls for a minimum of 350 watt means furnish. it would carry out extra suitable than what you've. i opt to apply a means furnish it truly is truly better than the minimum required. Mine demands a 550 and that i have a six hundred. So once you've decrease than a 350 watt playstation do no longer attempt it. or you'd be soliciting for hassle. in case your means furnish is enormous sufficient you could also overclock your video card. With riva tuner. yet in elementary words do it in a small increments. If it runs at 500 mhz turn it as a lot as perchance 550. Do the middle and memory and shader one at a time. study on-line a thanks to do it. that continuously makes a large distinction in body charges. in elementary words a mild overclock on memory. decrease than the middle clock. in case you may want to get an 8800 or 9800 it would carry out a lot extra suitable. those require a min of 450 watt
