Infatuation burns high and short! Love holds on for the long run! I prefer the long and wondrous journey only love cab give!!
Shortcuts can be exciting! Yet the long way is offers so many Delicious surprises! I'd hate to cut my time shorter than it already is.

It's a matter of personal preference. Some people want to enjoy the journey as long as they can, and some just want to go through it to the end as fast as possible.
I think I would take the shortcut only if I'm confident that I wouldn't suffer from any serious consequences, and if there's no point in stretching whatever I'm doing much longer than the bare minimum.

Why not? I might see something along the way worth looking at or I might bump into someone I'm looking for coming up the normal route. Preferably, I like shortcuts and different routes-it keeps me from being bored and gets me there faster.

not all shortcuts are an easy way out...some of them creates more problems...i'd rather not take it.the long journey makes it interesting
