Well, I'd start off with a spider gram, then organize my ideas. Next, i would write out a very rough plan, then go through again to add detail. After that i'd just keep editing and editing. Another tip is to JUST KEEP WRITING never put the pen down apparently otherwise you get writer's block. Have fun and hope this helps!

Theres a site online called lulu.com
They may be able to help you there with what you r trying to do. And as far as I| know its free too.

You can also, apparently, put your story in/on there, and people can buy it, and you then save on the publishing costs, cos they can be horrendous.

If you go and have a look you will know if its for you or no
Dont get easily disolusioned either, but please remember there are many many people out there all doing the same thing... and there are only so many bits of paper left in the world to write on, if you catch my drift!

Good Luck!!

The most important thing is why do you write ?! The purpose of writing. This is the very first step. After you know this, you should plan how to achieve this. For example... 'in medias res' beginning, or a 'preface', or a synopsis .... you decide

Set aside a specific time each day to write when you know you won't be disturbed. Set yourself a time/word target each day, write even when you don't feel like it, if there are times when you feel writer's block, don't use it as an excuse to skip your writing time, use it to look over, revise and edit what you have already written, so your writing time is not wasted.

Just sit quietly with pen and paper when the urge takes you and write what comes to mind. it doesn't matter if you start with the beginning of your first book, just get those ideas down! you can pad out later!
