No. You just have to be really safe about what you do on myspace. Just don't give out personal information, and add mostly friends that you know and set it to private. ♥

it really depends on you, and what your wanting.
if all you're doing is just waiting for ppl to contact you, and if you already know more than your share of friends off-line, then it's no big.
if you have any sort of talents: a band, you draw, you write (ficition or poetry are popular), or if you are an artist, Myspace is a great way to show off your talents.
myspace has consistantly rated in the top 10 sites around the world, so if you want to be noticed, myspace is a good place to do so.

The problem is with the user, not MySpace, too much personal info is exchanged and made avaiable to the public.And this can lead to a million and one roads.Deception, ID theft, and so on. If you keep your account you can go into your profile and make it private, allowing only thoes on your friend's list access. If you choose to keep it public, keep all personal info to bare essentials.

I like Myspace....mostly because I can find out when gigs are on, and about album releases and stuff like that. I have also found friends on there that I haven't seen in a while...

Myspace is a little bit at the back compare to Friendster...i prefer Friendster than myspace...we can share photo and it is fast and easy....

it is just a place to get you face on the internet. Have you ever goggled your name and nothing came up well this is a way to let people know about you andget your face out there even though it is hardly used for that today

I just use it as a way to communicate with friends and family. I don't look at it as being overrated or anything just useful.

well if u delete it you will have to get alot of peoples numbers
myspace is made to just talk to people u normally dont talk to
and wont talk to on the phone.u can plan things out on it
its cool. you can show off hobbies.. things like that. thats y
i have mine.. not cos i cant live without it.. but because
i have a few acquaintances i talk to on there..

at times it gets boring, but things seem to pick up after a while, the big deal is it feels good getting comments and making a page to express yourself apart from dat???
