Usually people with phobias will often experience panic attacks as a direct result of exposure to their trigger. Other triggers include physical activity, pain, feeling of having no control, stress, disagreements, and fear of failure.
I used to have these a lot and what would be extremely horrible for me at those times were the thought of going crazy and/or stuff like that I don't have them much anymore but they do happen sometimes, what I do to help them is I get out more often, exercise, and just stuff to keep my mind healthy being active is very helpful, you keep your mind busy.
And one of the most important things is to remember that you ARE in control and that there isn't anything wrong with you, it is common and it happens to a lot of people you are NOT going crazy.
I hope this helps you because I went through a very hard time with anxiety attacks and I obsessed over them at one point. But now that I am active and in control everything is great and I hope you can do the same.

I have, for lack of a better way to phrase this, social anxiety. What happens to me is that when I try interacting with groups of people in an unstructured social setting, I get very tired very quickly. Basically, all I want to do then is to crawl into a corner and fall asleep.
How do I prevent it? I very carefully control my social activities so it doesn't wind up affecting me too much.
I don't think I've ever actually had an anxiety attack, but I imagine one way to prevent it would be to examine what situations cause you to get so anxious, and do whatever you can to try to avoid those type of situations. Probably, hypnosis might also be a good treatment for this, but hypnosis doesn't work on everybody the same way.
I hope this helps.

You identify the source off the anxiety attack and work on it, that is the most difficult part, you may know what makes you feel anxious but you may not want to do anything about it because you don't know the outcome of what you are going to do. In worst cases, the anxiety is caused by things that are out of your control and were you can't do anything, coping with that is very difficult, pills sometimes help but don't get used to them, otherwise you'll get addicted.

Well first thing your gonna want to pin point what is triggering your anxiety attacks. Once you know what is causing them you can work on that. As far as what to do when your having one, SLOW DOWN!!! stop and breath, and just try to take your mind of the situation
Hope that helps.
