The Bermuda Triangle is one of those enduring myths that people believe in and perpetuate.

On December 5, 1945, 5 Navy TBM aircraft (torpedo bombers) disappeared while flying in the Triangle, and afrter a massive search, nothing was found. A Martin Flying Boat which was dispatched to look for them disappeared also.

About 15 years ago, the 5 TBM's were found on the floor of the ocean within the Triangle, and they were identified as the missing planes by their tail numbers. All five had crashed due to navigational errors causing them to run out of fuel and they crashed close together.

As far as the Martin Flying Boat, a fisherman in the area had reported hearing an aerial explosion and had seen a ball of fire fall into the water in about the same area as the flying boat would have been. These aircraft were known to have fire hazards, so it is assumed the plane exploded in mid-air and vanished.

In 1918, a collier (cargo ship) called the USS Cyclops vanished without a trace in the Triangle. What most people don't know is that the ship was carrying hot, liquid sulfur, a highly volatile substance. Chances are very good that the cargo exploded which would have vaporized the ship.

So there are logical explanations for the disappearances in the Triangle as long as ALL of the facts are known. Unfortunately, people tend to leave out or add things in the telling of the stories which makes it seem like a paranormal phenomenon.

many people said and believed that there is kind of mystical, paranormal, or strange thing inside bermuda triangle. they often mis-used the evidence of the ship-lost or plane-crashed events that happened in bermuda triangle to strenghten their arguments.

however, there is no special strange thing that occurs in bermuda triangle. it is just like other places in the world - no differences at all.

so, how can we explain those losts and crashes in bermuda triangle? first, there are more tornados that occurs in bermuda triangle than other part of oceans in the world, so accidents are normal. second, the numbers of ship and plane-lost cases in bermuda triangle is not bigger than other places in the world. other part of seas in pacific ocean have larger numbers of accidents than in bermuda triangle.

in short, bermuda triangle is not a mystical place, or what sort of ghost-living place at all. it's just part of the oceans - ordinary one!
