Whatever stereotype you may have heard how much of it do you believe is true and who or what caused you to believe in such things?

Stereotypes:
You have an extroverted personality because you are Hispanic
You are temperamental because you are Hispanic
You take care of your man better than American women
Plus all the body prejudices etc....
Don't worry, stereotypes have very superficial foundation. For example I was watching a documentary about Che Guevara. In Cuba, they thought he was not from Argentina because he was quiet and looked a little bit oriental.
What is to be Hispanic? It is a very large mixture!
Look at my avatar. I look completely European, but I am Hispanic.
Do I have extroverted personality? Yes and no, like everybody it changers according to my mood.
Am I temperamental? Yes, but this has to do more with my own personality than my origins. Actually where I come from people are very shy.
After all this, I realize you want to know the nasty stereotypes as it seems...mhh...just go to the "immigration" section, there you will read a lot of stereotypes that some write. You will need stomach for some posts.

Worst negative stereotypes from media, etc ascribed to black women and then Latinas. Yes, I agree. The power to be tend to lumps us together. Many people still think that ALL black are lazy, want a hand out and on welfare. There will always be some form of racism. Let's abolish race hatred. Smash the color lines. ><

Women making good maids to the rich, let the boys in the family be lazy, and being too judgemental and racist. And I'm considered a sell-out for not "acting" and thinking like a hispanic. I find it annoying that they find me a bad kid for acting like a good kid.

All I know is that some people think that Latinos are only good for being house servants to rich people and that they all live off welfare and have lots of kids by 4 different guys.

They are represented as being load, fiery, proan to rages and having a love of bling and bright colors. When They get older They become fat. Just the TV steriotypes that I can remember.

That they are rude and baby making machines. I'm Hispanic myself so don't take any offense to this.
