I usually wake at 9AM, come home from work around 9 ish (PM of course..) After that, 5 of 7 days I usually go to the gym, and come home around 11 PM., after that I shower..., and its either I watch TV, or go on the internet. I usually sleep at 3AM.

So thats about 6 hours total. Over the past years thats how many hours of sleep I usually get... so here's a double question...is that normal? Even if I'm not watching TV, or on the internet... I'm still awake.

it's fine to have about 6 hrs of sleep..it's perfectlly NORMAL..but it's kind of sleep late!

I sleep abt 7 hrs, fr 10pm to 5am..i like to start my day with morning exercises followed by breakfast, then get into my routine.

In this way I have plenty of time in hand.

The idea of everyone needing 8 hours sleep a night is a myth.

Everybody's an individual - we all have individual needs for our diet, exercise regime and sleep.

Some people can get away with 3-4 hours of sleep (famous example Maggie Thatcher, ex-British prime minister), while some need about 10 hours (like me). Obviously, you know your own body, so only you can say what your body needs are.

If you are still active and not feeling tired after 6 hours sleep, great - it works for you. For you that''s normal.

If you feel tired through the day - have a nap - it's that easy!

Between 6 to 8 hours, usually.

On average I get 6 to 8 hours sleep, 8 is best but I don't always get that that often. At least 6 hours is pretty normal for some, or maybe most I guess.

I am a shift worker and do days and nights. I think my time clock is 24 hours rather than 12.
I can stay up for 24 hours then sleep for 8.
Average would be 5-6 hours per day.
