People who are 18 or above are considered as adults..
And those having teen at last of their age are called teenagers..means people of age 13-19
So, people of ages 18 and 19 are considered as teenagers or adults or something else...

i think it's that in the eyes of the law you are considered an "adult" at 18 by you being able to make more of your own choices in society, but if you look at it this way, your still developing until about 21 ( the age at which you can drink) so physical body adult is like 21, but the government holds you responsible for your actions at 18

at the age of 18 u are considered a legal adult but at the age of 21 u are considered a young adult u have all the freedom. but when ur 18 thats just preparing urself for the responsibility of the world. lol hope i helped

You're both. In the US, you're a legal adult at 18. However, that doesn't mean you're prepared to just jump out there without a safety net.

Yes you are a teenager but you should be acting more like and adult, as in being more mature, responsible for your own actions. Also now that your 18 your parent are not responsible for you action now.

You can be a Teen and an adult just as you can be a teen and a child, being a teen just refers to the "number" age that a person has achieved eg she was in her teens, he is in his 20s etc
