I mean what have they done to you? Is being born a paticular way the reason? And why do people believe they're so evil?
I'm sick of this misinterptation that gays are evil and needed to be avoided and if confronted, should be dealt with anger and disgust! And worst of all, why can't stupid, friken christian mums stop filling they're children's brains with stories of hell that await homosexuals, and tell them stories of evil, inhuman sinful acts these awful homosexuals commit?
WHY?!

why do people hate/dislike homosexuals? What have they done that is so bad?

The biggest reason of all is Christianity, or, should I say, the misinterpretation of it. It is exactly like you said "stupid, friken christian mums" filling children's head's with that. The problem- is the idiotic idea that a book written thousands of years ago has ANYthing to do with us today. Back then it is said that people talked with God, but if anyone says that in THIS day and age, society calls them crazy, bipolar or schizophrenic. Back then they were told not to eat shellfish and pork, or mix their fabrics. These were ALL statements handed down to them by the "Allmighty" and yet, nowadays everyone DISREGARDS those rules. So why is it that people still hold on to this ONE belief more than others? Simple.
Fear. Fear of what they don't understand.

a lot of people who claim to hate gays, are not comfortable with thier own sexuality and are under the misconception that a gay person will try to come on to them. there is also some people who show anger and hate towards gays as they have tendencies of the gay variety themselves. others are taught by parents etc to hate, just like racists will teach thier children to hate people of different races or cultures. and the rest are just plain ignorant.

And there's a difference between being a Christian and a religious fanatic.
If a Christian hates anyone then basically he is not a Christian.

it is a phobia for some...because they are scared of them for no rational reason. I think maybe they are scared that they will like turn gay or something......
That goes for Homophobic people.
Then there are people who just don't like seeing gays in society. That is differant, they are just conservative and have a set way of looking at society. They just don't want normality to change. They are usually good people, who will not really care if you are gay or not, but just don't want to have to see it.

I think everyone is great apart from the people that diss other people....but not a problem they will live and learn....
