Yahoo has a finance tab that lets you enter stock symbols to get the current quote.

Open an account with one of the stock brokers in your area.
Every day whenever you have time, visit his/her office. You will find all the trading terminals there displaying real time quotations of whatever shares you wish to look for. Terminals also display real time sensex and nifty figures including the points changes compared to last close.

Best we all feck their puny plans up by being a bit more disreputable then, as I am lucky enough to live in a reasonably nice area I think I can stay reasonable whilst acting irresponsible like they do all the time. The best I find is Yahoo Finance. You can create your portfolio and enter the desired parameters. The link is

you can watch t v channel like cnbc ndtv profit etc which show the current trading in various shares and the current prices.

Best option, I think, is opening a yahoo account.In Yahoo finance you can then make a customised portfolio.It gives streaming quotes.And ofcourse its FREE !!!!
