Use waterproof - sports sunblock & reapply often...Make sure to dry off before you reapply (I see so many people where I swim apply over wet skin). Your hair will also start to show signs of damage from the chlorine but a cap and good leave in conditioner can help.

Yes. LLifeguards do it all the time and they are in a worse state becasuse they have to deal with the sun's reflection off the water as well. Use a high SPF and plan on getting a tan. Use a good exfoliant in the shower and a good moisturizer and you'll be just fine ( = Most of the beef jerky people you see got that way by applying oils or wanting to develop a deeper tan. Just protect yourself smartly!

Oh how I wish I could be young again!!!

1) Swim at an indoor pool, or
2) Wear sunscreen and reapply frequently.
3) Don't forget UV protected shades.

Some find beef jerky very tasty!

Just wear SPF 30 or above sunscreen. Follow the directions on the bottle.

If you wear sunscreen I guess... But I don't really know what you mean by 'beef jerky'. You will get really in shape I know that much.

I do!!! As long as you aren't in the pool for a long time, and wear sunsreen. Just because you have a base, doesn't mean you won't burn. Trust me, my friend thinks that, and she just won't listen to me.

Don't see why not, as long as you protect your skin with sunscreen.
