I RESPECT the Sri Lankan cricket team,they play good hard cricket,its a shame about some of their supporters who are bad losers who continually whinge and cry on this forum,and who are intent on bagging the Aussie side.

they are like a flickering light bulb really. one time they play while they've totally lost it and other times they just smack the game! there are very surprising players. dilhara sometimes gives away like 8 runs per over but over the recent matches that he PLAYED, he absolutely shined.
when the greatest of players like sanath is shifting away from the game as he is very close to retiring, we have players like mahela who'd now definitely past the margin of 40 when batting, and also the quick scoring guys like dilshan, vaas and probably the young player upul t.
we can't forget malinga the slinger and murali who's still got it since 1996. so they have a very consistent and quality players; they have little of everything. bless them!

Sri lankan cricket team is the best, even though they lost to Australia in world cup finals. As i think they are the best example for the "gentlemen" of the "sport of gentlemen". All of them are talented, courageous, humble and full of sportsmanship, etc. They don't play with hidden squash balls in their gloves (like world champions).

they played great cricket in the world cup this yr...they relli showed why they deserved to beat India ..they could almost beat the aussies in the next world cup...I have a lot of confidence in way they play...I think they have great skills and style...they are improving realli well...when the indian team got axed..it was like wow...surprising.....but they dint play as well as they shud have..it was like the Indian team were amateurs..

I t is a very good team but there might be problems when the veterans leave. The youngsters on the team might take after the veterans but no matter what they are the best.
