If i paid in a cheque to Clydesdale bank on Monday will it have cleared by now, i'm at work so can't check just now but really need it and i'm not set up for internet banking yet.

It normally takes 5 working days.It could be in now or it might be monday?xx

With most banks, it's usually 5 working days before a cheque is cleared.

If you pay a cheque in from a scottish bank it takes 2 working days. If paid in from an English bank it takes 3 working days.

Doubtful - bloomn banks still say 10 days for cheque clearance. NOt good enough, is it!!

They will not give you the cash until Friday.
