well despite the fact its considered one of the greatest college football games of all time and they won, i really dont know...(sarcasm)
dude as much as i hate TX and as much as it hurt when we lost, if USC had won that game id still talk about it...it was a phenomenal game with two of the best college teams of all time, in 50 years i guarantee the 06 Trojans/Longhorns will still be considered among the best teams in college football history.
in fact i do occasionally talk about it still. it was a GREAT game!

what the longhorns won something? I could have sworn that the texas Vince Youngs won the rose bowl...Its b/c mack brown is a joke of a coach that has the best recruiting class every year since 1997 and still manages to dissapoint everyone.

ahhahahhahah, Because they are like the insecure chica that got dumped by their superstar boyfriend (VY) who went on to bigger and better things in Nashville. I am just kidding though. In all seriousness I still talk trash to Sooners fans about the 155-(-24) whooping we put on them 3 years or so ago in the nat'l championship game. I also like the Vols and occasionaly talk about the 98 nat'l champ victory over the Noles. Just taking pride in your school. They got us that night but it is still one of the best championship games I have ever watched. Even if it was just USC vs. VY.

Why would you talk about your Oregon State and UCLA losses from last year?
The fact you dont know how many championships TEXAS has won shows me all you know is USC from the past few years to now. Do some research before posting questions...why make use do your work...lazy azz!

Why does USC talk about Back to Back Championships when the one was SPLIT and LSU took the BCS Championship at that? Don't hear them saying we have back to back Media Championships. Don't hear them saying we won a SPLIT Title and THEN A BCS Title. Nope just claim Back to Back Titles. That is the thing about Titles. Once you have them you can brag about them forever, and even leave out somewhat key details.

because it was a great game. they gave a huge upset to the trojans. the trojans had back to back heisman winners and vince young got a last second TD. Texas takes pride in their football. Now say that wasnt impressive how the longhorns upset the trojans.

By the way Texas fans you only won because of one guy named Vince and he doesn't play there anymore. thats why you didn't get very far last year.

Because here in TEXAS, football is the most important thing there is. Hell, We have high school teams out here with, NCAA stadiums or, better. western Pennsylvania don't have anything on TEXAS. TEXAS IS, FOOTBALL.

I also still talk about the 05 rose bowl where we did the same to to michagin that we did to usc.
