Well I agree on some parts, the shows is entertaining and some of the acts are great, I personally thought the opera singer was amazing last night as well as the big dance group.
But how is showing the world that we have people who can sing and dance showing the world that we are, as you put it 'a force to be reckoned with'. My opinion is that we devote too much time to entertaining skills and not enough to over things that could actually help show the world how great Britain is. What about the people working to help people get back on their feet in our society, the social, hospital and charity workers? What about those striving to help the environment, or political causes across the world? Surely they deserve more respect than a badly singing puppet!

Maybe a slight more serious answer to your question especially as it is in the entertainment section but to finish I just wanna say that despite that long ramble I do find it great and I can wait to see the opera singer sing again. And the woman who chainsaws her crotch.

It was great - would have been even betterwithout Simon Cowell's trademark catty bitchiness and the 50p per call phone line where 10p goes to charity and 40p doesn't.

It's hilariously funny, in parts, and a little bit inspiring in other parts. A bit like our country as a whole with the horrid bits left out..
