I'm not trying to offend anyone... just curious... I'm referring to songs like "Catholic Girls" by Frank Zappa and "Catholic School Girls Rule" by Red Hot Chili Peppers. I was raised Catholic, my Mom is Catholic and so is my girlfriend.... any ideas or comments?

"Catholic School Girls Rule" was based on an actual friend/girlfriend of Anthony Kiedis, the singer for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I wouldn't say it's supposed to mean all Catholic girls have that reputation, because being Catholic doesn't necessarily mean you are a Catholic SCHOOL girl. the difference is the uniform--i guess a lot of guys think the uniform is cool or whatever

Catholic school girls get all these twisted ideas about sex and are taught by sexually repressed nuns, so when they rebel against all that silly repressed BS, they tend to go wild as hell, and they are definitely hot to trot! and i should know, my first girl went to catholic school and she was a crazy lover, damn that girl was really something else. Thank god for catholic school girls at least! 'Course I am too old for high school girls now, but those catholic school girls sure taught me alot and made me a happy young lad back in the day.

i am catholic, went to catholic school for the first 9 years and finished out at public school. public school girls had nothing on the private school girls. we had very few nuns but we did have those plaid mini, school girl-type skirts. i don't know what it is but we are just wild. lucky i guess. a natural defiance to rules of order.

It all depends on what you mean when you say "reputation".

Depending on who you ask, "reputation" might be code for chastity, or it may be eluding to promiscuous behavior.

Seldom do the extremes ever resemble reality. As in any school, the student body is apt to be a mix of the self-respecting chaste and the self-deg rating "sluts", for lack of a better word.

You have to take people one at a time.

i think the nuns who teach them are to blame by filling their minds with conflicting information

and they are kept away from boys and so they don't understand how repellent we are
