I regret it....

But not because I can't stand Bush and Im ready for him to leave, which I am, but rather that in the election in 2000 I think the system failed the American people and we let it happen there where no massive protests overnight weekly campouts and I think that was due to the fact the rest of the country felt like it was a problem in the state of Florida so we decided to sit back almost and let the government handled the situation mainly because nothing like this had ever happened before or that since then we still have allowed the electoral college to still be active.

I regret it for the simple fact that Al Gore won and he didn't become the President. Now would America have been better off is another Y!question with a whole nother Y!answer.Great question.

Make your voice heard VOTE in 08.

Just because he's a Democrat doesn't mean that he wouldn't go to war if the country was attacked. Also, why is it bad that the guy can lecture? At least he doesn't have the reading and speaking capability of a 3rd grader in a remedial English class. With the whole global warming thing the guy is right on. It is a problem that we need to fix now instead of being in a country where we don't belong nor are wanted.

No, I like speaking English and I don't want to wear all those clothes the Muslims would have forced us to wear. Al Gore would have been too busy worrying about something that may or may not happen in 120 years to deal with terrorists.

Ha ha. Fat Albert Gore. He could run for dog catcher and I wouldn't vote for him. He and Kim Jung IL are in a love triangle with Mahmoud Ahmadinijad. There aren't enough words to describe the disdain I have for Liberals.

"Regret" implies I could have done something about it. I lived in a non-swing state during the '00 election, so my vote was essentially meaningless.

No.

Sad little sheep you’re sorely misguided. Someday when you grow up you will stop evaluating the world based on your selfish self centered emotions and learn to apply logic in your decision making (perhaps I am just fantasizing).

If your question wasn't so sincere it would be laughable but alas it is only sad.

No way! The best thing Bush has done is not pander to the whole man-based global warming farce.

Even as VP, Gore had said (on record) that one of the first acts he wanted to do was force people to drive only 3 days a week. This guy is nuts, and if you believe his convenient lie (convenient for his special interest funding groups), you're as nuts as him.

Yes. I have since the election, but my conviction has only increased, especially now that he is being himself rather than putting on a presidential candidate's face. It shows how unrealistically 'made up' people who run for president have had to become. Now that Gore is speaking from his heart with open conviction, I'm even more sad that he was cheated out of the presidency.
