Alcohol is what is called a surfactant. It breaks the surface tension of the water in the soda so that bubbles that make up the foam have trouble remaining intact. It will depend on how much alcohol there is though. Beer, which has alcohol, will form a head (foam).

I would mix the soda pop with the alcohol preferably vodka add some ice turn the TV on and think who gives a crapola. =p
