People can be very stupid...They don't realize that african americans come in a variety of different hair and skin shades...Laugh and ignore it.

Because most African Americans have black hair. I've actually never seen an African American without black hair unless they dyed it.

If you had a caucasian ancestor (even if that ancestor dates back to the 1800s) it could still be in the mix, even thought its rare and it could help determine your hair color and/or as well as your physical makeup.

Because it's pretty rare, and a lot of people don't realize that "we" (and our skin and hair), come in MANY, shades of black, brown, mocha, tan, and even white! =)
