No. My father was stationed in Jacksonville, with the Navy and they would sail through it nearly every day. There wasn't a single interference with their equipment, and no paranormal activity occured.

Bermuda Triangle Portal

No. The Bermuda Triangle was disproven in many ways. The initial planes the military lost? They knew exactly where they went down. Berlitz left that part out. On other things he lied outright, but a lot of it involved some very creative statements, such as claiming that any plane, anywhere, that crossed within the Triangle in it's flight plan and crashed, anywhere, inside or out of the Triangle was said to have, "went through the Triangle and disappeared!"

A good book by James Randi called Flim Flam! is a good resource for tracking down the nonsense perpetuated by Berlitz. Good luck.

Oh, I'm not a hater of the supernatural (I do dislike the term, however). Far from it. I just hate liars and fakes.

I was in Bermuda about 5 years ago. Nothing happened. I asked people there about the triangle, they all laughed at me. I have found out a few things since. While events have occurred, no more (on average) than anywhere else. Insurance companies DO NOT charge a premium for going to Bermuda because the accident rate is similar to rest of the world. Bermuda does have a lot of shallow rocks. Way back there were quite a few ships that sank because of this. In fact, while I was there I saw a display showing that EVERY ship wreck in Bermuda's history was due to shallow rocks. Now, with Sonar, it is all mapped out and the accidents are at a normal rate. It's just a normal place really. Population is large (for its size) because people love it there. IT's very nice. I'd go back in a minute but it is expensive.

There is nothing really paranormal going on in the Bermuda Triangle. The place is home to a number of powerful natural "Ley Lines" in the Earth, or energy spots.

There are electromagnetic disturbances that occur in the area that make equipment malfunction, and thus planes and vessels "disappear" by mechanical mishaps.

I havent been there, but i've always been facinated with the Bermuda Triangle. Dont know about "portal to another world" but, I think that there is something unique about it for our world. There is evidence that there is a large city beneath the ocean That they believe it used to be "Atlantis" I was always facinated about that subject too.

I saw a TV segment on the Bermuda triangle on TV. A group of people tried to do it, but they turned back because its a large distance and the plane started running out of gas. The plane also started going crazy like losing communication and parts of the plane started functioning incorrectly.
