I really love the good ole' 50's rock and roll, but I think living in the 60's & 70's would have been really fun - sometimes I wish I would have actually lived through that age instead since I am such a music fan & there was great music then! Oh well, in the mean time I'll just keep persuing my passion with http://www.anapest.com !

Before the introduction of communication technology which enables you to talk to people without leaving your bedroom half naked.
I just think it was better back in the day say 80's, 90's when people got together more like just group gatherings to see there friends it seemed people back then had less to do and therefore more time to see friends and just chill at there mates places more often, today more people rely on myspace, msn and all those silly ways to keep in touch it seems nowadays you have to have a big special event happening for friends to get together like a big drunk piss up or something big, probably cause with jobs taking up more of our time, and uni courses that are harder to complete take up more time so when we get home we just want to just sit back in front of the tv or internet and do nothing when we get home. Children are also getting the disappoinments of this, it seems that kids are being put into care.. earlier, longer and unneccessarily like, after school care or holiday camps or getting sent to there grandma this is happening more and more in America ive even heard quotes of children saying "just face it you see your grandma more then your parents" kids are getting more use to disappointment at a early age cause they usually arent given the time of day they deserve, and which they use to get more often back then, right now my lil brother is asking me something but im on the net answering this question.. ignoring him, this is an example of this.. So if this is YOU yes YOU!, turn of your silly electronics, blackberrys, tv shows, mobiles, laptops and spend a bit of time talking to your kids planning things you want to do with them. people then were also more relaxed and were cruising on unemployment money without jobs and had to work less hours in the day. now the cost of living is more, and jobs are paying less compared to then also. thats why.
anyone agree (email me)
p.s thats not the best wording but.. i think you get the point.

The year 2084. Driving flying machines, food in the form of a pill, and the ever riveting ten minutes hate. I would join the anti-sex league and wow my buddies with my mad skills at newspeak.

I'm good with the one I'm in, but only because I enjoy certain creature comforts.
My other choice would be the fifties. We may not have had PCs and DVDs then, but the mood was lighter and happier.

Because of the music the late sixties and seventies. I LOVE Hendrix, Janice Joplin, etc and would have loved to see and hear it all live.
