This is a cheque scam. It may involve processing fees to pay up front. You may get a cheque that seems to get cleared and have to pay a sum out of it. It will prove to be bad. You havn't taken part in anything so you can't be in it to win it, etc etc. If it is too good to be true then it probably isn't true. Be warned. It is usually called a 419 scam or an advance fee fraud, so named after the section under the Nigerian criminal code making such payments illegal. What is the email address to reply to? A little work by some experts will result in this fraud being destroyed.

The Moon is made of cheese, the Sun goes out at night, Aliens landed at Roswell, your Old Age Pension will be enough to live on, you won a Lottery without buying a ticket ...

(actually, the bit about Roswell might be true)

this may be a scam to get your financial business enterprise account contents. You pay the transport can charge and the verify they deliver you bounces. in no way open those issues. in no way provide out your advice. You did no longer win something. Yahoo has in no way had awards or lotteries, Yahoo knows of those scams and so is the regulation enforcement, they're no longer elementary to get closer. in simple terms mark them unsolicited mail.
