Yahoo could....but ultimately it really all comes down to the parents being aware of wtf the kids are doing.Soooooo many don't have a clue or want to know .Sad but true.If the parents navigate the site and allow their child to be here, then they should know what they might potentially be in for;ie pornographic avatars, racist comments, and such. You can see that pretty much every time a log in to answers. Also consider, putting a label on things and making it more difficult for children to access via parental blocks.Does it say,"come and check this forbidden thing out" like parental warnings on records did a few years back? And they find a loophole anyway cause lets face it,they can be creative about such things. So I could somewhat agree, but I dont see "it" as being an effective deterent.Parents just need to be more responsible with their kids....bottom line.

I agree and disagree. Parents should have to personally sign their child up for this website. Someone just asked, "How old are you?" And got answers like 11 and 12. Once I saw I ten you're old on here! But the thing is, to have an account on Yahoo! Answers you're supposed to be at least 13. That's the age Yahoo! designated. Maybe if they rose the age up to 16 or something you would be happier, but I wouldn't, because I am under 16. I don't think they should create a teen category, I think that they should create a Yahoo! Answers for Teens. That would make it easier and more efficient for adults and teens alike.

Definitely. I think it would be reasonable for teens to have a place to ask serious questions that they aren't comfortable asking their parents regarding health and the like. YA has become overrun with bad grammar, hard-to-read questions and immaturity-largely due to the age of many of the users. Not to say that some teens can't be mature and some adults aren't immature, but I think having a separate site for teens to ask their teen-related questions would be great. I have to wonder how it is not ok for kids to see sexually obscene questions but its ok for them to see some equally graphic (but serious) health and sexuality related questions (like in the men's and women's health sections). Good question.

That category would be the most mindless category ever.I agree, even though I am a kid, I am tired of all these dumb tweens asking about their Disney channel stars and Avril Lavigne, Akon, Gwen Stefani, Lil' Mama, etc. I am tired of seeing questions like "does he like me?" and "What are the lyrics to Girlfriend?". Sometimes, kids ask worse questions than adults... my generation is so freaking stupid.

I don't think its the kids doing it, I think there's a bunch of miserable adults that just go around reporting stuff and Yahoo should be checking out before they just delete it or send notices...

no. it is our responsibility as adults to understand that kids come on here, we need to take responsibility in our own actions. i remember being on yahoo chat all the time when I was younger running around in star wars rooms.

Supervise what your kids do and Yahoo should be blocking these punks a lot better.

I agree. If we did that, the little kids such as $mitty, Tom J, Rico, and Skinhead Charlie wouldn't even be on here.

Too many questions. I don't really agree. I can tell who is a child by their questions and answers so I just ignore them.
