Help with match info?

Question

I watched a clip of Triple H and Steve Austin beating up the Hardy's, and about to attack Lita. But then Kane and Undertaker comes out to save Lita, and Triple H and Steve Austin run out of the ring. This happened in 2001. Can anyone tell me why Triple H and Steve Austin was so mad at the Hardy's? Thanks.

at the time it they were a heel stable along with mr mcmahon called one man power trip. And jeff hardy beat triple h in a upset so they beat the hardys down then kane and taker as faces came in for the save which set up the first ever tag match where the intercontenal title and wwe title was on the line and if kane pinned triple h he would become the intercontenal champion or if he pinned austin he would become wwe champ. austin and triple h won the match

Only reason I can think of is that they were booked in a match together. Hardy's probably won that with Lita's (outside) help. And HHH and Austin didn't like it.

Kane and Taker were face at the time, I'm assuming so by playing heroes, they came out to stop HHH and Austin (who were big time heels at that time)

Both Steve Austin ad HHH turned heel at that time.. so they were beating the Hardy Boyz up and feuding with the brothers of destruction to get heel heat..

it was a random match but stone cold and HHH were mad at the Undertaker & Kane not the Hardyz.But then Knae fell in love with Lita.
