I have a 15 year old that's thinking of how we're going to pay for her to go to college?? Where are these free colleges?? My middle daughter just found out that she makes to much for grants so if she wants to go to school to become a teacher ( a profession that is under paid to begin with) she's going to have to take out loans. Where's this free college again??? We have a women's history month also, have you never complained about the treatment of women??? And even though slavery officially ended in 1865 we still didn't have the same rights as white people until President Johnson signed the Civil rights act of 1964. Since you're so smart who was living on the earth Billions of years ago???? Not man of any race as we know them now.

You're F*cking Crazy!! What F*cking Free College?! Neither has my family nor myself ever felt sorry for ourselves. You can't go to college for free just because you're black! What the hell does Black History Month have to do with anything. Most teachers/educators do nothing to celebrate, educate, or acknowledge the many accomplishments black people have achieved.

You come off as a racist to me! Blacks are still not seen as equals in America. And its people like you that piss off strong, educated African Americans like me by asking stupid, racial questions. You're an idiot!

billions? It happened 200 years ago moron. And maybe slavery ended a long time ago but not segregation. That was 40 years ago which means nearly every black persons grandparents and somes parents had to go through all that. You're so ignorant.

who do you mean by bet you they still complain. you do you know how many people are in this world my friend. I'm not going to attack you nor agree with you just give you the truth. Look at the person as an individual and a question like this can bring two things pride or anger

Not all of us; to be honest the only complaining I hear about slavery are from non-black people like you; I don't feel sorry for myself; I am against the victim mentalitiy

Wow! Free college? Where???

I paid $40,000 a year for my only child to go to college, and now she goes to med school where she has loans to cover $88,000 a year in tuition, books, fees, etc.

I want this free college!

I hate BET!

Black History Month, is cool, though. Let's keep that.

A billion years ago? ha ha. thats funny. Legal institutional oppression in the US ended in the late 1960's with the passgae of the civil rights act. That, Im afraid, is not quite a billion years ago.

Its worse in Africa. the last African colony to gain self governemnt was south Africa in 1994. again, hardly a billion years ago.

I know i'd be bitter if I knew my great grandmother was somebodys *****. Wouldn't you?

I don't think 'free college' and black history month makes all the pain go away.

This question doesn't even warrant an answer. You obviously have no idea what you are talking about.

It appears that you were recently partially listening to someone else's conversation and now you are trying to make uneducated comments about it.
