I take Jolessa (generic version of Seasonale). Now I only get about 3 periods a year and it's great! The only thing about taking oral contraceptives is that you MUST take them at the same exact time each day to avoid getting pregnant, not to mention spotting.

Anyone who get pregnant on the pill forgot to tell you that they forgot to take their pill for acouple of days! I don't believe people when they say the got pregnant and was on the pill. If you're interested in taking the pill you can talk to a Dr. about I think the rhythm method? I'm not sure what they call it, but there is a window of time in a woman's cycle where she can have sex and not get pregnant. It has to do with when your period comes and stuff like that. I don't use birth control anymore, but I douche right after I have sex with distilled water, to mess up my PH balance and I haven't gotten preg. in 2 years since I started doing that.

The rhythm method is what I did when I got married. The only form of birth control accepted by the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church wants couples to have lots of children. But, some couples want to wait a while after marriage,so their use the rhythm method. Look up the rhythm method in the search box, so you can understand how it works with your menstrual cycle.

You should be talking to someone who works in this field. What is right for one person may not be right for you. When I was in college I was on the pill. I have tried the patch. I am currently using the nuva-ring and I love it! Just do you research you may need to try somethings before you find what works for you! Good Luck!

i might want to pass with the IUD if I were you. I had the Mirena IUD for 3 years, and function those days had it bumped off to objective for toddler variety 2. The IUD replaced into painless to get in, I had it put in at my 6 week verify up after my daughter replaced into born. that's secure to apply when you're nursing your newborn, and it lasts for 5 years!!! Plus you do not might want to be worrying about pills or some thing else. the in ordinary words imagine i did not comprehend when I were given the Mirena is that's can take awhile on your menstral cycles to go back to general after having the IUD bumped off. I had mine bumped off in December 2008, and contained in the previous couple months my cycles have ultimately again to general, except that, I extraordinarily propose the IUD!

If you do not want to take pills then try the rythm method. tracking your period to see when is your safe and unsafe time to have sex. Go to www.cyclespage.com sign up and you will have an online tracking of your period basedon what you put in like when your first menstuarl cycle was, if you cramped and etc.. It is self explanatory and very easy.

hey. the patch is a big no no, they took it off the market mostly because it was killing women so stay farrrrr away from that. with any birth control there are still risks of getting pregnant, but to find what is best for you i think you should go and see your doctor. they may be able to get a feel for how your body works and reacts through simple questions and can tell you what is best for your lifestyle. congrats on the wedding!

The shot IS bad. Trust me. Personal experience. I suggest getting and IUD. I hear it works great! I've heard many great things about it. Talk it over with your ob/gyn to find out whats right for you. But the IUD doesn't inject hormones into you so I personally think it has the least side effects.

I have a Merina, but you need to have a baby first, before they insert one. They just re-released the Today sponge, and it was really popular back in the day. it contains spermicide.

There was a Seinfeld episode where Elaine had to "quiz" her dates to be sure that they were 'sponge-worthy', . If they weren't, then she wouldn't sleep with them. That was back when they were taking it off of the market and women were hoarding them and buying them by the cases. lol That's how popular they were.

Hey, take it from an old gal and make for a great honeymoon experience. Abstain till you say your "I do's". This is the only for sure birth control w/o side effects. And the waiting makes for great sex when you do come together.
