I want to dress as trendy as i did before but i have no idea where to shop for these size clothes. Plus I'm too embarrassed to see in shops what sizes they go up to (like billabong etc).

Man, it sucks trying to find clothes in that size (i'm an 18). Don't even try looking in most of those mall stores, they'll generally only go up to 14. I think there's a size-finder thing at seventeen.com that might help. I've had luck at Kohl's... hmm where else do I get clothes... Department store "women's" department (most of it is FUGLY though)... old navy online stocks big sizes. Also try Target. And like the other responder said Torrid and Lane Bryant.
If you see any stores or clothing lines with "plus" in it, that means it's for big girls. Like at one of the local malls there's this one store that has craptastic polyester stuff in big sizes-- it's got the same name as another store in the mall only "plus".
Do yourself a favor and get some workout clothes along with new jeans etc. Even if you're big, it's better to be big and toned than just flabby.
Good luck.

Lane Bryant has trendy junior's clothing. I'm not sure if they sell them in stores or solely online. Here's the web site: http://lanebryant.charmingshoppes.com/pagebuilder/lbmix_landing_page . JCPenney also has junior's clothing in plus sizes.

How about JcPenney, Old Navy, or Deb. They all have Plus lines in teen/young women styles. I think if you are over a 16, that is Plus.
