Hi. The song that is playing in my mind was from the early to mid seventies. I can only remember two parts to the song.

In a falsetto: "and they call me a vigilante man"
Regular voice: "just like a woman loves you, just like a woman loves, you"

I have googled, I have yahooed, dogpiled, etc... and can not find it.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

It's not vigilante. It's "Avenging Annie", which is the name of the song.

Listen to this all the way through, I'm 99 percent positive.

I suppose your song doesn't match "Vigilante Man" by Nazareth (1973).
