i think duncan should be mvp. without duncan parker would not be the player he is. tony is good but i think duncan is the bread and butter for that team.

Duncan is the best player on the team. but he did not have the best series.

Tony Parker is the MVP, and deserves it. Duncan has enough trophies, anyways.

He was good but ultimately stats (offense) usually dictate who gets the MVP and Tony Parker was better by a small margin. Plus, Tim Duncan has won the award many times and it is nice to see the likes of Tony Parker being rewarded.

Tony parker was the clear-cut MVP, Duncan is good but Parker had 24.5 point avg on something like a 57 % field goal...

Dont tell me that aint sick, plus hes A GUARD!!!! That makes it totally sick, parkers amazingly fast in transition is a good slasher and also excellent vision and he controls the ball well and was just able to pass to others for the easy play, he was the one assisting Duncan(and others) for easy shots...

IN this series, Parker definetly was the better man...

Not after todays performance although when the Cavs took the lead Duncan did bring them back hitting a few shots including a tip in on a free throw and getting some big rebounds. Personally I feel like Bowen should of been MVP as defense was such a big part of the story and Bowen played excellent D.

umm parker forced the issue and driblled into the lane and during transition and made plenty of buckets

He made a couple of crucial threes and he assisted a couple of manu's shots in the end and found him while TONY driblled into the lane

In game 3 parker hit the big 3 to give the spurs cushion to go ahead late in that game

Props to duncan for being good in this series, was parker was the man...check out his field goal percentage for the series...sick...somthin like 50% like a PF or C would have and he is a guard!

duncan was the MVP the last 3 spurs championships...parker had more pts per game...and more stats overall.....duncan wasn't doing well this game...and it almost cost the spurs the game

with all due respect to duncan....i'm a spurs fan...i just think it was parker's year this year...and the spurs are one of the best teams in the league....and tim duncan is one of the best players in the league...just not in game 4

Duncan got it last time, give it to the other players that deserved it. Tony played better though, i think the better man got it.

I disagree. Tim may deserve the MVP for the season but Tony definitely earned it in the finals.

spurs vs. cavs - parker was the mvp. but the other series spurs were up against, it was tim duncan.

Tim has already been MVP several times. I think it's nice that they gave it to Tony. He's fast and he's firey and always ready to go. I have been to every home game. He's awesome!
