Nope, it means that he got spam. Everyone gets it. If it were a gf or an affair, why would she send a virus? Your anti-virus system isn't 'covering' for your husband, okay? It was spam. Relax.
However, you should tell your husband that your feeling suspicious of him and he should be connecting to you more on a deeper level because you are for some reason, rather insecure.

I think maybe you are jumping to conclusions. I've had some really sneaky virus laden emails that sounded so real. Some idiots have nothing better to do than try to send viruses to ruin as many systems as possible. They think it's funny. The more intriguing the subject line, the more likely you are to open it out of curiosity. You have a good anti-virus installed if it wouldn't let you open the attachment. Remember the rule. If you don't recognize the sender, NEVER open the attachment.
I understand your concern, but I really, really think you dodged a system crash and not a sexy email meant for hubby.

It was just a virus.
"Open this immediately" is a tried-and-true subject heading for viruses, to the point of being a classic that people are warned about in manuals like this one: http://www.med.und.nodak.edu/depts/ndfarva/booklet1.pdf
Spam and virus emails are supposed to be eye-catching, the infamous "I love you"-titled email that went around a while back being a good example. Other popular subjects are as innocent as "Hi," or "We met recently..." or titles that attempt to fool the reader into thinking s/he has won or inherited money or a prize. So don't feel bad that you fell for it.
Make sure you have an antivirus program. Running it once a week is pretty good, or at least once a month You can download free ones like Avast here: http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html

It's a virus, ok? If the sender's a girl who's into your husband, she wouldn't send him a virus cz your husband will get turned off by it, don't ya think so? Besides, you shouldn't be so paranoid. You are thinking of the worst because you are guilty of opening his email. You think that everyone's against you precisely because you know you're wrong. If you want your relationship to last, learn how to trust. Anyone in your situation would automatically delete the email so that her husband's computer won't get infected instead of being suspicious. Plus, you should be honest with your husband about knowing his password and opening his email occasionally. If you want an honest husband, be honest yourself. Tell you what, my bf personally told me his password. I don't have to secretly open his email because I obtained his permission to let me open his email and read his messages anytime. That's the way to go, sweetie.

i don't think that by an email u could define cheating, unless hes having some weird behavior when he is around u or things like that...sometimes by going in any web site not necessary being porn sites or chat pages you received weird emails from people that are trying to send virus to ur comp..or maybe he happened to chat with someone.....buy if the email said it contain a virus you shouldn't worry if it was another girl his cheating with i don't think she would send an attachment with a virus.....you should talk to him and ask him...my husband and i shared same email because sometimes is easy to get carry away on the internet and its best if we always know whats going on.....if he has a private email with secret codes watch out better be safe than sorry....good luck

Is this the first time you have thought that he was cheating onyou. Because if you have noother reason to assume he is, then I owuldnt worry about the email you found. The fact that the email said that the attachment says t me it was probably spam with a My hero titla to make whoever it was open the email event hough they didnt recognize the address.

Don't worry about it. My husband has a myspace page-you should see all of the sk*nks that want to be his 'friend'. The attachment had a virus. Yikes. Make sure you deleted it. And run a full computer scan check. It sounds like spam mail to me. I would not worry about it. Why did you spy on your hubby anyway? Do you think he is cheating?

It actually sounds like spam to me - and with a virus attachment. Spammers are getting very good these days and appear to be real people. Give him a break on this one, but keep your eyes open just in case.

That is an on line dating advertisement. Spam. But if you are suspicious, go to 'on line infidelity', that has a wealth of info. It will give you signs to look for in his behavior on the computer. It will also give you info on keyloggers, keyghosts and webwatchers. So you can know what he is really doing on line and you won't have to wonder anymore. You have the right as his wife to find out exactly what he is doing and saying with other women.

First of all, you shouldn't have invaded his email, first of all. It shows disrespect and a complete lack of trust in your relationship. This could simply have been a virus email, which should never have been opened. Probably not even from someone he knows. So don't be so paranoid and insecure or he really will start cheating on you. It's not too attractive.
