I think deportation went by the wayside when the man whose name resembles a shrub took over the white house.

Hey, there are 12,000,000 of them here, and both political parties are just so pleased! Why, I hear you ask? Because, I answer, illegal immigration provides cheap labor for the true rulers of this country...Big Business. The leadership of the House and the Senate...not to mention the President...owe their souls to corporate America.

So, to detain and deport these twelve million illegals, we have an undermanned, underpaid, under-equipped agency. Nothing is being done about this scandalous situation because the politicians don't WANT to do anything about it. They want the flood of illegals to flow unstemmed.

Until the American voter wakes up, this is the way it will be.

As a retired law enforcement officer from the Ca. Az. Mexico border, I can atest to the deportation of illegals. Much more could be done. Rep. Joe Bacca stopped the inland sweeps by the Border Patrol in San Bernardino County last year. I keep asking how are they going to enforce any new bill when they won't allow the laws on the books to be enforced now.

Yes deporting is still happening but it makes you wonder with all the illegals that are here in the US.

We do have laws, but they are either not enforced or not allowed to be enforced.

Its like just about anything. You have heard the ole saying,"its not who you know but who you blow". Well this happens from the top of our Goverment Officals clear down to our own Community Leaders.

We deport appr. 200,000 annually. 500,000 annually are crossing, so only 40% are being deported.
