Oh Sugar, I am a woman born and raised in the deep south. Talk about a 'good ole boys club'. I was raised by my daddy, though.
I've caught hell my whole life. For my accent, for being a WOMAN with southern accent, for being a woman in the south with an opinion(and a strong one) that I never hesitate to express.
I have thrown all my'caught hell' experiences back in the face of the givers. But one(especially a woman) must never forget to learn from every bad experience she's experienced. And I have learned. Now I am a steel magnolia. Funny how our enemies or nay sayers are the ones that sometimes make us the strongest, huh?
