"If you want to kill the bill," Bush said, "if you don't want to do what's right for America, you can pick one little aspect out of it, you can use it to frighten people. Or you can show leadership and solve this problem once and for all, so the people who wear the uniform in this crowd can do the job we expect them to do."

anyone tired of this moron pretending to know wtf he's talking about?

Does a child getting his vaccinations give his parents a "high approval rating"? I disagree with Mr. Bush on a lot that has gone wrong, as well as the immigration bill, but one thing you can not deny, there has not been One terrorist attack on our soil since 9/11, When your side gets in charge and that is coming quick lest see if that changes, and how well you will defend their lack of a spine. Remember in the 90's under the first fool to be named Clinton, we got hit in 92 at the trade center, the embassy in Africa, Sudan, Cobalt towers in Saudi, The USS Cole, so I would say its about Clinton 10 to Bush 1, in failing to keep the homeland safe.

The last time I checked, the Moron Dem Lead congress, you know Pelosoi and Morons, approval rating is lower than Bush's rating. Ya, they sure are making huge changes, I think Nancy herself is proposing a huge change, so her and family and her Liberals crooines can fly around on Military Aircrafts on the tax payers dime, WOW, She's making huge changes liberals.

No president--regardless of approval rating--has any business claiming to know "what's best for Americans." This country was founded on the idea that the people are able to make their own decisions. The President is there as a publi servant--not as a "Decider" of what's goood for us.

Last time I checked Congress was just as bad. Can a Congress with a 29% approval rating really be doing the work of the people?

Considering about 41% of the popolation votes there is a chance the answer is maybe. Do not let the acting simple fool you. I belive that underestimation is is an asset to him and others like him. He did not get there by being dumb, that is an impossibility.

right now we have no one in washington who has the best interest of the american people in mind. bush can't lead and congress doesn't care. god help us if we should need strong leadership. since most congressmen want to keep their cushy jobs we can't let up on the phone calls and emails threatening to dethrone them if they don't do what we want them to do. now is no time to be politically correct.

How's this...can a populace, who is polled, know ANYTHING of merit when most Americans cannot find Louisiana on a map. People, Americans in general, are woefully uninformed.

No better than a Congress with an approval rating that's even lower than that.

We don't have a government, we have a bunch of agendas. Not one of them makes sense unless you're making money off of it one way or another.
