I'm named after my dad, who's named after my grandpa. So I'm "the third" which is pretty sweet. I also have a name that's associated with a totally sweet car, so that's nice.

My middle name is Leonardo like DaVinci. My parents hoped I'd grow up smart and talented.
My initials are the same as Robert Louis Stevenson and I was a sickly kid who grew up to be a writer, spent time living in Edinburgh and the South Pacific.
Did you hear about the couple who couldn't think of name for their newborn? The father went out in the hospital corridor for minute, came back and wrote Nosmo King on the birth certificate. The nurse left the room to file the paper work and when she got in the hall looked up and doubled over in laughter. Just opposite the maternity ward was a sign that read "NO SMOKING"

Believe it or not, my parents never talked about it and I never asked. Three years ago, I gave myself the gift of my favorite grandmother's maiden name in recognition of what my great grandfather had to overcome to raise his family in this country. Then I shortened my first name because many of my favorite people in this world share it -- Kate -- to me it represents the strength of the late, great actress Kate Hepburn! I also just like the sound of it.

No, it's Lisa.
My parents wanted to name me Dana, (which is one of my favorite names...they didnt know)
...but they FORGOT it right before i was born.
So they named me Lisa and i still have a grudge against them for that.
Haha i'll get over it.
