What are your thoughts about this situation - the husband feels that their sex life should be better & wanted the friend to talk to the wife to get her to do more in bed. The best friend (female) even had the audacity to talk to the wife about it. How can the two be that comfortable to discuss this topic...

Not odd at all. A classic sign of a jerk trying an end around play to get the wife's friend in the sack. It's a lowlife move and this guy shouldn't be trusted. A guy will use this technique to test the waters. He gets to talk about sex and complain about his wife all the while he is scoping out the friends reaction to what he is telling her. He is looking and probing for any sign from her to continue getting more and more intimate.

My best friend ( a male) has asked me to speak to his wife about a number of things, their sex life included, throughout the years. His wife and I are also very close, and when she has a problem with him, she often asks me to speak to him about it as well. Perhaps, like them, you husband felt it would be a good thing to get an impartial opinion, and then have that person speak to you, because it would be a calm discussion. Perhaps the husband and best friend are as close as my best friend and I are, and can discuss anything. I really wouldn't read too much into this, the wife should feel happy that her husband is able to get another female's perspective. If, however, the wife is still upset by this, she should tell her husband, and ask him not to discuss their sex life with others, but rather to come directly to her in future.

Sounds to me that the husband really has the hots for the best friend and this is just a way to let her know he's looking. Men can be amusing sometimes...of course, since she really did talk to the wife...I wonder if their friendship is still okay. I would sure be upset if my husband discussed something that personal with anyone other than me.

Easily, if there's more to the best friend & husband's friendship than anyone would expect. It really does seem wierd, and to actually go though with the talk says a lot on the best friend's part. If she's not fullfilling the husband's needs, she's getting in a position too, so be careful.

Frankly it sounds like a good solution if the husband cannot talk to his wife. What exactly is the wife upset about, that her husband isn't satisfied or that the best friend now knows?

I thought bestfriends talked about everything? Better he told the best friend to talk to you than tell your mother or the pastor right? or would you like feel better with a stranger if so then ok i'm telling you GIVE HIM WHAT HE WANTS if he's complaining, then he is a good man and obviously wants more of YOU YOU YOU. Keyword YOU!! On second thought i wouldn't talk to my wifes bestfriend unless i was ......... Hmmmmm sorry but the bestfriend needs to be watched!!!

Here's my take. The husband and his best friend have been fooling around behind his wife's back. This is a ruse to get his wife to have a threesome.

My guess is the husband is actually hitting on the best friend in a subtle way. It makes no sense that he can't discuss this with his wife on his own.........there's more to this then a simple conversation!

Odd, unusual, suspicious is what comes to mind. I'd question if there might have been an affair between the two doing all the talking. And, what woman wants to hear from another woman that she's not doing enough to please her man in the bedroom?

I think that is odd....sex is suppose to be between the husband and wife. It is to be shared only between eachother, if he isn't willing to talk to her about it...then there are issues that need to be addressed.
