Own up to it. Welcome to early adulthood, responsibility, accepting accountability for your actions, etc. Consequences are a part of life, and really, this situation isn't so bad.
Unless you're planning on a career in politics, in which case you'll gain more practical experience by ducking, avoiding, diverting, denying....
Would you rather risk a bit of anger for an honest screwup (these things happen), or have him deeply disappointed in you when he finds out you've lied to him? Hint: which one exhibits greater trust in your relationship? Never go against that.

Did the windshield break or crack? either way you should tell him, but I've seen balls hit windows and not crack them, that's why I ask.
tell him, and in the future be more careful about where you play, try to make sure you play in an area where a foul ball or bad throw won't do any damage.
windsheilds are only a few hundred dollars, I had to replace a windshield in my Dad's car once (not from a baseball, rather from a rock while drving) it was $100 deductible and insurance paid the rest, but he had full coverage, even if your dad's insurance doesn't cover it it won't be too expensive.

Yeah but before you tell him maybe consider doing the footwork to find out where and how much it will cost. The cheapest and most convenient. Get the ball rolling on the solution so when you tell him you can already say you took the liberty to fix your mistake.

Kids will be kids. If your parents have any ounce of understanding, they will remember that they were kids too at one time, and that these things just happen in life. Be honest, tell your parents that it was an accident, and they will respect you more for being up front about it.

Just tell him the truth and promise him you will be more careful in the future. He will appreciate your honesty. Offer to pay to replace window, either out of your allowance, or by doing extra chores.

Tell them, of course. They probably have insurance that will cover the damage, but there is no way you can avoid telling them the truth.

Just tell them. Accidents happen and it doesn't cost that much to fix a windshield.
Honesty is always the way to go...trust me.
