Well i always say
"after they got kicked out of the garden, adam and eve were feeling pretty naughty, so they did the dirty deed again and again, and yes who knows what happend after that.
I'm pretty sure their wasnt an adam and eve.
Or if there was they were created along with the rest of 'em.
Just a good "be good" story i guess.
This was a lame answer on my part, sorry. I'd be shocked if i got a best answer....
Haha THEN i would know there is a god

Incest YES. And ( my favorite part) women were unimportant and so they didn;t even bother to list their names in the birth records most of the time, so Cain and Abel married their sisters and had kids with them. ( two heads or three?).
The real question is if Adam and Eve were the only two on Earth, where the hell did the "other villages" come from that Cain and Able split off to live amongst? Did they have hundreds of children or were they beamed down from the mothership when it returned to Earth from Zeta Reticula?
And then those nasty buggers did the same incest thing again with the whole Noah story ( Noah- earth's first documented alcoholic- look it up).

Abel did not have children. Adam had sons and daughters with his wife Eve from the age of 130 to 800. Cain (the Bible does not give the age of Cain at his death or mention when he died) was alive during part of that time and fathered children with his wife, likely a sister or niece of his after she came of age. Cain was still alive when Adam and Eve had daughters that matured into women. "Afterward Cain had intercourse with his wife and she became pregnant and gave birth to Enoch." Genesis 4:17 "the days of Adam after his father Seth came to be eight hundred years. Meanwhile he became father to sons and daughters." Genesis 5:4 Genesis chapters 4 and 5 are not in chronological order or in sequence. Chapter 4 is simply about Cain and his family and their accomplishments and chapter 5 is about the rest of the family through Adam.

somewhere when it starts talking about the stories of Cain and Abel, after Adam and Eve were evicted from the Garden of Eden, the Bible indicates that there were other people on Earth.
"incest?" well, technically in our thinking yes. see, physically, the only reason incest is a problem is genetic problems, but that soon after the dawn of man, there wouldn't have been enough genetic problems developed for it to be a problem physically. and socially, it was common practice in the early days to marry family...even though that's pretty gross. but there is a point in the Bible where God said that man should no longer marry close family. again, i don't remember where it is, but if you look it up i believe it's around where the Israelites go into the Promise Land....but it is there. anyway, that's my feeble attempt to answer your question, hope i helped instead of hindered :) good day!
btw, the Bible says Adam lived to be several hundred years old, so there was plenty of time for procreation :)

No puzzle. God created Adam first and Eve was made from his rib. They were perfect when first created and they lived hundreds of years, they had many, many, many children over all those years. Of course Cain and Abel would have to have a sister for a wife. In this day, God forbids you to have relations with your mother or sister. But it worked back then. So why do you question God like this? You can not begin to understand His thinking, you are but a puny man, He is Creator of everything. Keep reading. Studying and praying for insight as you read.

No puzzle at all. It doesnt say anywhere in the BIble that GOD ONly created Adam(as) and Eve....by the way this is not an original opinion, this is what scholars have said for thousands of years.....Muslims know that many others came from the 'back' of Adam(as) as if GOD took Eve from his body, so he took others....does that mean when Adam made love to Eve it was incest? of course not. Also Lot (as) did not sleep with his daughters, this is why muslims get so annoyed with Jews and Christians, they slander prophets of GOD ..do u really think any prophet would sin like this?

God created Adam and Eve....they had children that married each other..they lived almost 1000 years back then so they had many children. Their children lived almost 1000 years so they had many children. Incest was not even considered back then..People had to multiply.
Only later did incest become an issue.
There were no other people on the earth. When some of the offspring were grown they moved away...and set up cities...still these women were their close relatives because they all originated with Adam and Eve.

The Bible only records the ancestry of Jesus Christ.
Adam, then (Cain kills Abel) so God gives Seth, then comes all the others in a straight unbroken line of sixty-four sons on down to Jesus Christ.
Cain knew his wife in the land of Nod, but they are not in Christ's ancestry.
If you follow the names, you will come to Jesus born of Mary.
Anyone mentioned in the Bible is there only in relation to Israel, which God raised up to bring Christ into the world. They began with Adam, but it keeps narrowing down until you get to Abraham, then Isaac, then Jacob, the Judah then Perez, then through the kings like David, Solomon, etc.
His ancestry is what the Bible is all about, who Jesus is how he came here and where he came from.
Why?
So the world will know who he is; GOD.
Of course God made other people, but it is the lineage of Jesus that the Bible concerns itself with.

Well, according to some Qabbalistic teachings, there was Lilith and Samael. Lilith was said to have been Adam's first wife. Samael being the "serpent" in the garden, who gave to Eve of the forbidden fruit (had sex with her). From these liasons there could have been offspring. ( Naamah, for one).
Then there is also the "sons of god" or Watchers, who elected among themselves to descend and "take wives of all those they chose."
The thing to remember though is that every religion has its mythology. It is not to be taken literal, but rather to conveyseeds of wisdom to "those that have an eye".
