definitely...they beat some of the better teams...phoenix was really good...the spurs show no signs of stopping either...wait for the offseason...the spurs aren't done yet....and don't forget that was the 3rd title in 5 years....maybe 2009 will be the year....(03 05 and 07)
GO SPURS

For the sake of technicalities (if there are any), then yes, the Spurs can be seen as a dynasty. They've been very consistent in their performances, year after year. But just because they're a dynasty doesn't make them great.
They're a dynasty in the sense they've been successful -- no doubt about it -- but they're nowhere near as great as the past dynasties have been. If the Spurs had faced a better team this year, and if it wasn't for the lockout of 1999, then maybe they can be considered a truly great dynasty. As of now, I just find them a good, consistent team. Winning championships is all that should matter, however, so congratulations to the Spurs.

Of course. 2 me, any team that wins @ least 3 or 4 titles, weather its within a decade or throughout it's history can be a dynasty. & as much as I actually loathe San Antonio, they don't look like they're "peaking." I don't think there r any major guys who are gonna b free agents this summer or next summer. The Spurs will continue 2 irk Phoenix, Dallas, & Cleveland 4 another season or two.

Im sorry to say not quite yet. Dont get me wrong 4 championships in 9 years thats pretty amazing, but i would only ever consider them a Dynasty when they are able to beat such elite teams for a consistent period of time, you look back and think wow through such and such time THAT team was the greatest era, excuse me Dynasty in our time. Thats what dynasty's are my friend a remembernce of greatness, and i think a few more title in less years will make them rememberd as a Great Basketball Dynasty of our time.

HELL YES!!!! Come one no team has ever been so consistent in winning NBA titles as the Spurs... And no i dont like them, the beat Melo and Ivvy my fav players...
But its abit irritating if the team is too good like this case it gets predictable i mean who would wanna watch the same team winning every year??

definition of a dynasty....a powerful group that maintains it position for a considerable time
in this day and age of free agency....i guess you can call them that.
