I've had ppl call me by the wrong name, but also add insult to injury by saying I don't look like my name. That really makes me feel special. : |

I have occasionally been called Jessica by sunday school teachers who think I look like someone else, but people mix up my older sister and my mom alot! It's kind of funny. We all sound the same on the phone apparently too, we always have to make sure people know which person they are talking to!

People , now these are my best friends and parents, I have a 5 y/o sis named Callie and of course my name is Shelby and I'm 13. They call her Shelby and me Callie. Plus i've been called Courtney who is my 14 y/o cuz.

GOD yes....even when I had to wear a name tag at work, they said the wrong name. And it would not even be close. My name starts with a M...and they'd be "Hey, Katie!" For some reason, I get Kate or Katie. I must look like that should be my name....LOL.

Every now and then, yes.
I mean really, Jack, you think they'd remember your name..it being so common and everything. Who could forget a name like Jim? Next time they do it tell em "My name is John Brown. Do it again and I'll knock ya down!"

My next door neighbor calls me Daniel my name is not Daniel. I have just gotten used to and now answer to the name Daniel. She is kind of old and I just don't bother correcting her.

ALL the time. My name is one that is not heard much, so people just assume it's a Linda or Lindsey.

My grandma goes through every womens name in the family before she gets to mine lol... and sometimes instead of pronouncing my name (which is Nina), as "Neena", they'll pronouce it "Nyna".. SO annoying
