I have a laptop, my system is Windows 98, before I use the internet , there were some errors and the computer stops suddenly, after I start to use the Internet now it becomes more affected by viruses and some sign of errors or warning comes into my screen , one of them says :the page you are seeing will be closed , contact your program vendor,the other one says :Content Advisor :*Please check your Content Advisor settings for missing information .Click the Tools menu and then click Internet options .On the Content tab check the content Advisors settings. Ok.
The other one says : This browser window is busy , close it will cause some problems .Do you want to close it anyway?O.k. or Cancel .
I tried to do all these but nothing happen , now I can not use the internet or anything else , my laptop has stopped working .
What should I do ?, please tell me as soon as possible .

It would be best to do a complete hard drive format if you have the install disk -- not usually the case with a laptop. Then make sure you install a good virus package once your system is going.

If possible, upgrade to XP, it's a much better OS and would fix itself on issues like this.
No one should have viruses, there are so many very goood (and free) virus scanners out there.
