sorry didn't watch the game...but yeah I like the Spurs (fellow Texans after all)...and Duncan is okay...so is Parker and everyone else...BUT they are boring people...they need some personal "dirt" so the rest of the non-NBA public would even know they exist....they lack pizazz

Congrats SPURS!

The truth is, whether people like it or not. They swept the Cavs. The Cavs beat the Pistons and the best team's performance won. The officials had nothing to do with the result of the Suns loss. Even with the scandal, they had an opportunity to win. They didn't.

People don't like the Spurs because there are no "Superstar Personalities". They don't need any. The reason why their team is so good is because they can hurt teams from all sides of the basket. Tony and Manu are dangerous getting to the basket. Timmy is dangerous under the basket. Horry, Barry, and Bowen and dangerous from the 3pt arc. What can you do? The team plays unselfishly and creates opportunities to score. Double teaming any one player just opens up the floor for one of the other weapons. Coach Popovich is an excellent recruiter and a great coach. The Cavs have him to thank for Coach Brown and Danny Ferry. Pop's experience and the team's discipline has been ignored and that's sad. It's funny, you always hear about the negative things and not about the good.

I understand that the team is seen as boring. I think it is partly because their players were not followed in college. They are mostly from other countries. However, it cannot be ignored that they are the best this year. Don't get me wrong, the Suns are amazing. Honestly, I would have been happy with either team going. Dallas was an embarrassment to the Western Conference. The Golden State story was one of the greatest stories from the playoffs. Utah and Houston are just not ready yet. The Eastern Conference?.....Please. Not this year.

So, if you want your team to win, I suggest you pay attention to the Draft. Support your team and hope for the best.

From a diehard Cavs fan----

Congratulations. Enjoy your "dynasty" while it lasts. Ours starts when we get either a real point guard or a legitimate 2nd scoring option.

Although the first 2 games were legitimate, there were very bad no calls against the Cavs in the last 2. Even if they had gone our way, and subsequently the games, the Spurs still would have won this series. They are a very good team.

Everyone knew before the playoffs that 99.9% the West Champion would be the NBA Champion, so this wasnt much of a shock.

Again, good job to the Spurs, they deserved it, but watch out in the next few years another dynasty in CLEVELAND with our KING JAMES is gonna start.

Saying Cavs fans have no class, look at yourself saying the Cavs suck and the whole 9 yards. Go ahead, prove to everyone on Yahoo! answers the Spurs fans have no class! People do not realize that when a team gets swept, that means that team sucked big time. So Spurs fans, make sure you stay on the bandwagon because when the Spurs are doing mediocre in the future games, you will change your tune.

No surprise. I mean honestly, it was a West championship for sure. Pheonix, Dallas, or Spurs. Whoever wins the Western conference finals will win next year too.

the Spurs are silent, deadly assassins. they are consistent, with outside shooters, and can get very dirty if need be. i wish phoenix was able to take them out..Nowitzki needs counseling. Maybe this chip on his shoulder will actually get him fired up to take charge in big situations. Lebraun needs to think before catching the ball. The cavs need more pieces: a particularly a pg to run plays for James instead of him bringing it up himself. They have enough big men.

i tried to email you about the pinoy multimedia developers but it was disabled. if you can reach me at: watusi12@hotmail.com that would be great... salamat.

to quote my favorite bible verse

John 3:16 "And then the Lord said, "GO SPURS!!!"

DYNASTY...i guess it's a thing w/ odd numbered years...should the spurs then win in 2009....

i think the cavs should be happy w/ beating the pistons...i liked watching that series...i respect them for rising up from being down 2-0...and i hope the spurs win a few more titles before another dynasty begins....go spurs!!!

the haters are just jealous because their teams weren't good enough to be in or win the finals...instead of being a wuss and spitting hatred on yahoo questions..why don't you just wait another year and see if your team wins then...now stop being a playerhater and let the spurs fans enjoy what nobody else can...the 4th championship in 9 years and 3rd in 5 five years....ballin'

yeah yeah PRETTY EASY ROAD GETTING THERE (AND THAT'S THE TRUTH).......i never did like the team (except tony parker and robert horry....the rest..dirty players)....but congrats to them anyway. I am really even more proud of Cleveland for the steps that they have taken to turn a team around. Now they know what it takes to win a championship. Hopefully, they'll learn from their mistakes and come back to sweep someone else

Thank God Lebron didn't get that ring now he can step back to reality and realize he isn't a king but just a NBA player.
