A dipole is the separation of a positive and negative charge. A magnetic dipole produces a magnetic field.

If you are referring to intermolecular forces:
A polar molecule (such as H20) will behave like a magnetic dipole due to its molecular structure and the electron affinity of the atoms. Two polar molecules are attracted to each other because of their dipoles. the positive end of one molecule will bond to the negative end of the other.
