Do you really think it is worth about $400 for a 4 year accidental warranty? Would you advise getting it and then breaking your laptop about a month before it expires?

Read the contract closely. Once I've read the restirictions and deductables, I've never gotton one, but your contract might be worth it.

Uh, fraud ain't worth it.

That's pretty dumb. Extended warranties only benefit the seller. There are so many exclusions usually - besides the age of the computer and repairs being pro-rated - not worth it.

If it is a dell and you dont know how to repair a laptop, i suggest you do it. my sister doesnt have accidental damage warranty anymore, and her keyboard on her laptop broke, and my uncle told me how to fix it so she was lucky. i would suggest it, because pretty much you get a new laptop for $400.

Dang, what kind of computer do you have? I just bought a Toshiba laptop and I think I paid like 60 bucks for a year.
