Does a naturalist have to study ecology?
Do wildlife biologists have to study plants(since they study ecology and they also have to see the interaction between the animals and plants and also what type of plants they need ?)

I think of a naturalist as someone who does not have a formal education. They have gained their experence by being in nature and studying nature on their own. A wildlife biologist would have a degree earned through a formal education.

Wildlife biologists work hard in college to learn about science. A naturalist might be an ordinary citizen who is truly interested in nature; it is not really a job. Do you mean "have" to travel, ' or "get" to travel? Wildlife biologists work everywhere. A naturalist can just hang around the neighborhood and appreciate the nature there, or he or she can travel the world, enjoying the nature everywhere. I am not sure how old you are, but there may not be many tigers left by the time you finish your education. Have you read "The Deer and the Tiger" by George Schaller? It is an early classic by one of the pioneering zoologists.
